Pathfinder Minerals has heavy minerals sands mining concessions on the Indian Ocean coast of Mozambique. The heavy mineral content includes the valuable minerals ilmenite, rutile and zircon, used in the manufacture of a wide range of products across a number of industrial sectors.

A detailed feasibility study is being undertaken, with a view to developing a mine for commercial extraction.
